Finally set up my S10 4-season model to house my orchids & tropical plants after much back & forth communication to assemble all the components. It has a water tank at the bottom.
I installed a water valve to get 2 watering zones but managed to activate only one so far. Here are some photos as promised, team Aron/Chris/Stacy. The plants seem to be loving it so far, my Pleiones have decided to throw up their blooms just in time, they're the pink ones on the top shelf.
I've kept the cool & humid loving orchids ( Masdevallias, Lepanthes, Draculas, Pleurothallis, & Restrepias, Cymbidium seedlings ) at the bottom over the tank. The shelf above them has the intermediate zone ones ( Dendrobiums, Bulbophyllums, & other younger ones ). Both shelves are watered by sprayers above.
Above them are the tropical plants - ferns, Chirita, Peperomias, & some air plants. These are bottom watered.
The top shelf has the warmth loving terrestrial orchids - Miltonia, Brassia, Pleiones, Paphiopedilum. These have drippers.
The greenhouse has been "live" for 5 days now. It does get very warm inside because of the lights ( >25C ), I'm still trying to estimate the correct watering regime without letting the plants rot from overwatering. I didn't install the heater wires. I also had to seal the water tank to the greenhouse frame with silicone to prevent water leaking at the bottom.
I'll keep you updated about how the plants fare over the next few weeks.

Hi Anna, it's still early days & I'm no orchid expert, still learning my way through their culture. You can use the photos but with a disclaimer that this is an experiment, just in case someone thinks this is THE way to grow orchids. Thanks!
