Need to use my water mate pro offline due to location of Polytunnel. Have connected my phone once to the harvst WiFi network but since then I keep being told there’s no WiFi connection and as of yet have not been able to save my watering programming needs. A little frustrating.

Hi there, first of all take a look at the troubleshooting guide linked from the first post in this section ( control system ) - make sure the box is awake first. Once it's done the long beep then double beep, it's transmitting the WiFi network "harvst-XXXX". Some phones do need the list of available WiFi networks to be refreshed a few times to kick them into action.

Have now managed to get into the offline mode control panel, thanks.
However, I can’t seem to change the date or time?? When I input the correct date and time the box makes a long beep followed by two short ones and then goes cuts the harvst network. When rebooted the date and time are still the same and have not updated?

Hi - I'm afraid you might be falling foul of a firmware problem we had with a small batch of boxes earlier this year. If you can put it into online mode we can update the firmware for you and get it fixed. What's the WiFi address? ... the harvst-xxx ... I can check our records.

When you have the box awake, and you are near it, you should see a wifi network on your phone, similar to "harvst-xxxx". The Wifi network name ( called SSID ) is what we normally need... but I've found yours another way: "harvst-F870". Your firmware is actually OK. I would suggest a WiFi reset ( see the troubleshooting guide ) and then reconfigure it for online mode and we'll try and investigate from here.

And will it update in online mode even though where it is is nowhere near a WiFi signal or will I need to disconnect it and bring it up to the house first?

Online mode will need wifi I'm afraid, if you can bring it within range of the house.

So although I was able to reset the clock in online mode, as soon as it was back in offline the clock stops and doesn’t appear to advance from the last time it was online.
I’ve now tested this and as result the system is not automatically watering at the times I’ve scheduled.
Thoughts?

Hi there - good investigation. The only solution for that is to return it here for a repair/replacement under warranty, I'll ask Stacy to liaise with you next week if that's OK? Sorry for the hassle...
