I'm a software engineer by trade, and wondered if there were any plans to have an API for Harvst, so that I can write my own automation outside of this dashboard, as well as plot data in ways I find useful.
If it's not on the roadmap, I'm more than happy to contribute my time to make it happen so I can get more value out of the product.
Side note, having this would also allow Harvst to open up to using tools like Google Home/Alexia ( Commands like "Hey Google, water zone 1 for 30s", or "Hey Google, what's the greenhouse temperature" ), or integrate with other tools like HomeAssistant.
Also looking for an API so I can connect other devices and have a more broad eco-system. An OAuth API to provide agnostic integrations for home developers would be spot on.
I am sure there are a few people who use your product that have the skills to extract even more from it.
Thanks for the requests! We don't have capacity to manage this at the moment, but I'd like to get it implemented at some point... in the meantime, can you list some use cases which will help steer the direction we go in?

What platforms do you develop on?
I'm an SRE, so generally agnostic and work on most platforms & languages. Top 3 are probably Golang, Python, and Ruby/Rails.

This is just so that I can ensure watering from any other smart device, but also in a window that is suitable. E.g. not in peak sun etc.
So if it hasn’t rained that day, water next morning more at 5am, probably aligned with sun rise for my location.
