If your device control panel shows ‘pump fault’, your pump is drawing too much power and may have failed.

When the pump draws too much power, it is turned off immediately, to prevent damage to the control unit, and the alert is set.

The next time it needs to pump, it will try again. The alert is just a notification that there is a fault condition. To clear the notification, click ‘clear’ on the device control panel.

If you repeatedly get short watering times due to pump fault, then it is possible that your pump is about to fail. The submersible mini pumps should last at least 12 months under water ( should be removed over winter ). The pro pumps will last indefinitely when taken care of.

If you are within your 1 year warranty, we can replace it. If you are out of your 1 year warranty, we can subsidise the cost of a new pump; please contact us by email.
