Phone won’t connect to Harvst wifi Open

I have just purchased a new water mate pro and trying to setup to connect the box to my phone via the wifi connection. However I just get an error unable to join wifi. Can anyone help or suggest?
I have tried both online and offline modes.

Hi Sam, some phones complain that the wifi connection does not have internet ( which doesn't matter, you are not trying to connect to the internet ). Can you let me know what the Wifi network name is you are trying to connect to?

Trying in offline mode is faster as the box isn't hunting for wifi that has not yet been set up.

Hi Chris, the wifi from the box is showing as Harvst-20DE. I tried switching off 4G and my own home wifi to force it to connect to the box but still no luck. I initially tried offline mode first as my home wifi is intermittent at the greenhouse. I would like to run in offline mode only at the moment anyway. I can see the wifi and it tries to connect but always rejects. Only once did it appear to work but only for about 30sec when it opened the setup page then disconnected again.

Now I just get continuous long beeps whenever I try to switch the unit on or start in offline holding the override button. Any thoughts?

Hi Sam - that doesn't sound right. I can see that your control unit was shipped some time ago, can we have it back here and we'll update the firmware for you? ( We'll cover the cost ). Let me know if that's OK and we'll send a postage label. Chris
