Hi suzzy - Yes, absolutely. Any of our solar models will run off-grid. You don't need the internet to connect to them ( they can transmit their own WiFi signal ), and they will run just as normal without a WiFi connection, you just won't be able to monitor it remotely or get alerts ( such as temperature, soil moisture etc )
Perhaps the S14 might be a good model for an allotment? You don't want it too tall - unless you can mount it against a shed. What is your space like?
