Hi Kevin - your lights were due off at 1600 ( 8am + 8 hours ) so they went off at the right time!
As for connection, we resolved this by email - the black button on the web app dashboard will take you to the last IP address reported by the device. In some instances, the device might change IP address in your network, so make sure you refresh the web app first if it's been open for a long time. It's very rare to see an IP address change though.
My lights were due off at 17.00 they went off at 16.00, not a problem, but any ideas, can you see if I'm connected and missing something?
