We are investigating an issue where the nutrient sensor ( EC reading ) on the H-series is not 100% reliable. Symptoms are a -!- showing on the screen, or an "EC" fault code.
At the moment, we're note sure if it's a hardware or firmware problem.
Hi Nick, some progress, though no complete answer yet. It's definitely the hardware that's failing, since a replacement sensor fixes the problem. As for whether it's a water ingress or electronic failure, hard to say. Some sensors last months and some only weeks.
We're testing some sensors out of water to see if they fail. Will let you know when we reach a conclusion.
