After ordering and taking delivery of my water mate pro in mid March I am still struggling to get normaloperation.
When I run the pump manually from control box the high level of pressure continues to cause water to escape forcefully from the pump output connector ( jubilee clip ) and the valve input ( no jubilee clip recommended ) to push off its connector completely.
I have approx 20 drippers on the zone Im operating. A number of these blue with a higher output than black.
Valves and control box have both been returned for testing- all clear. Several ideas from Harvst admin link I stand there holding valve connection in place then leaks continue at pump end. Don’t know what to do next. Anyone with experience of this any ideas to test?
What about adding a jubilee clip to the ( new style ) valve unit connector?
I feel so near snd yet so far from a functioning kit.
Please suggest anything
even obvious stuff - it might be something embarrassingly simple.
Hi Mick - Jubilee clips are a great way of stopping leaks at joints if you have high pressure. We ship a few with the WaterMate. If you need more, get the stainless Jubilee-brand Size 00 ( 13-20mm ) for best fit.
1. Having adjusted the pump in minus direction on my water mate pro can I also add a pressure reducer inline between pump and valves? If so, what psi value would you recommend? Do you sell such a PR?
2. If I bought a submersible pump for parts of the year when I might need a limited watering system can I just swap pumps in and out or does the control box not recognise the submersible pump or need other firmware?
Thank you
