SamFresh 1
I've moved into a new house where there are some old veg beds by the shed. I'm tempted to rip them out and put a Harvster in there with containers instead. Would anyone recommend container growing or raised bed growing over the other? And why? Owen Harries 6
I would say it depends. Go with containers if you're not sure where you want a permanent bed as raised beds are quite difficult to move. However, something thats good about growing in containers is that you can move them as the sun moves to make sure they get as much sun as possible. I'd say go with raised beds but it all depends on how much space you have and whether you know exactly where you want to have the bed. Owen 🙂 3
Sally 1
Raised Beds are great as it means that the grass and weeds are less likely to invade. It also means that you can maintain soil structure by not treading on the beds, depending how big you make them of course. That soil structure makes for happier and more productive plants,
